Lip blush $450
(includes complimentary touch-up session)
Lip blush can enhance the shape, restore colour, and create fuller, and healthier looking lips. It is a semi-permanent procedure which can enrich your lips, lip liner, lip blend, or vermillion, making it look defined, and contoured. It is perfect for those that want to transform uneven or thin lips or those that want to add volume. This is one simple way of getting gorgeous lips without injections or fillers.
It is similar to getting a traditional tattoo, but not as deep and involves implanting pigments to the upper layers of the lips. These pigments can be used to redefine and recolour a variety of lip shapes. You can choose from a wide range of shades and styles for a natural and subtle look or a dramatic and glamorous impression. It also creates an illusion of fuller lips for those that want their lips to look more plump.
You can be confident that your lips will look their best and as natural as possible. Wake up with perfect and gorgeous lips everyday, saving you the hassle of putting on lipstick each time.
STEP 1: CONSULTATION
A thorough one on one consultation with our cosmetic tattoo expert is done before starting the procedure. To ensure we provide a custom and tailored service for you, we ask you to show us any photos you like (shape and colour), and how you would normally draw your eyebrows/lips/eyeliner on to get an idea of each client’s unique style.
STEP 2: SHAPE & MEASURE
We will measure and shape with a pencil and a professional ruler to ensure symmetry and precision. We will shape to compliment your facial features, and by doing so we design based on your natural eyebrow hair/lip shape and desired look. This step can take up to 1 hour, as we don’t start the procedure until you are 100% happy with the shape.
STEP 3: COLOUR
We will then select a colour with you, ensuring it’s suitable with your hair and eyebrow features. The cosmetic tattoo will swatch the colour on your forehead – this gives you the confidence that we will be choosing a colour that is unique to you.
STEP 4: PROCEDURE
The procedure itself can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending on the service. Once the full procedure is done, you will get a chance to have a look at them to see if there is anything you want fixed. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction, so we always make sure you walk out the door happy. Don’t fret – we always have the perfection touch-up session 6 to 8 weeks post-procedure to do any final touches.
- If you suffer or are prone to cold sores breakouts at present or anytime in the past, take either lysine or a cold sore preventative 7 to 10 days prior as this will reduce the likelihood of cold sores appearing as a result of the lips healing.
- Scrub your lips 7 days before the procedure (mix one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of sugar), then use a moisturising lip balm to get them nice and smooth ready for the lip blush procedure.
- Avoid heavy sunlight and especially sunburn 3 days before procedure.
- Do NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of procedure.
- Do NOT take Fish oil, Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure.
- Do NOT use Retinols, Retin-A, glycolic acid (or any other anti-aging creams or serums containing acids), 7 days before procedure.
- Do NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.
- No medication should ever be discontinued without first consulting your physician.
